About Nancy Welch

Nancy Welch has more than 30 years experience in public policy analysis, survey research, leadership development, public engagement, publication production, program development, and issues ranging from arts and culture to workforce development. She is currently Principal at NEW Associates. She previously served as Vice President for the Arizona Center for Civic Leadership at the Flinn Foundation for ten years, where she developed the Flinn-Brown Civic Leadership Academy, among other programs. She also wrote Strong Foundations for Achieving Civic Leadership. Nancy also worked at Morrison Institute for Public Policy at Arizona State University. As Associate Director, she developed and managed research and publication projects and directed staff. She holds a bachelors degree from the University of Redlands and a masters degree from the College of William and Mary.
